RE: UPDATED STAFFS AND EMPLOYEES MANUAL
The Management has updated the Laws, Policies and Regulations last August 1, 2014 effective August 6, 2014 (Wednesday) in the Teacher’s Page. You can also download the full document for your reference.
Special Attention should be given to the following;
XVI. Termination
G.PERFORMANCE AND LOW RESERVATION RATE
The following are the guidelines;
1. Maximum of one or three classes a day.
2. No fixed student in Two Months of Service.
3. Unsatisfactory performance.
4. Regular Employee with low performance and low reservation rate.
5. Lower than the average reservation rate depending on the classes opened/given schedule.
The following are the sanctions:
1. Teacher’s Observation
2. One Month (1) vacation
3. Additional task to be given by the Management
4. Two (2) Php deduction for every class conducted on the INCENTIVE.
5. In the event that teacher can’t increase his/her reservation rate in a given time s/he will be terminated with all the benefits be paid.
E. Disloyalty/Conflict of interest
If the teacher is proven secretly engaging in a business which renders a competitor to the company this is a breach of contract. Employees rendering service to other Online English School is not allowed.
In addition, having class with CubicTalk Students privately is not ALLOWED as well as using our materials with different clients.
Once found written explanation is expected and can subject for immediate termination.
XXIV. Standard Length of Class
All employees are expected to complete the length and standard length of class that is 25 minutes or 50 minutes.
Employees have the authority to conclude or end the class once they’ve reached the standard length of class time. This would allow them to prepare for the next class, accomplish their comment box and attend to other personal needs. Thus, it is a must to commence and conclude class on time.
The following are the sanctions;
1. First offense, verbal warning and hand in written explanation.
2. Second offense, hand in written explanation and one hundred peso (100Php) from the cash incentive.
3. Third offense, hand in written explanation, one hundred fifty peso (150Php) deduction from the cash incentive and class restriction.
4. Fourth offense, forced leave.
XXV. Dress Code, Uniform and ID
All employees should follow strictly the following;
1. Monday . Wear something with collar.
2. Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday. NO plunging neckline.
3. Friday. Uniform.
The following are the sanctions;
1. First offense, written explanation.
2. Second offense, written explanation and fifty (50Php) deductions.
3. Third offense, written explanation, fifty (100Php) deduction and two peso (2Php) for fifteen days (15) per class. Effective on the next salary term.
4. Fourth offence, written schedule, one (1) month two peso (2Php) deduction per class and class restriction.
XXVI. Declined Teacher
Employees are expected to give their best in every student that they handle. As much as possible, tailor fit your teaching methodology according to the needs, level and preference of the student.
1. First report, hand in a written summary of the said class.
2. Second report, hand in a written summary of the said class and fifty peso (50Php).
3. Third report, hand in a written summary of the class and one hundred peso (100Php).
4. Fourth report, hand in a written summary of the class and one (1) month two peso (2Php) deduction from incentive.
5. Fifth report, hand in a written summary of the class and class restriction.
XXVII. Work Shift
Employee’s given work shift must be strictly followed and should be maintained for one (1) month before any changes. Any abrupt change of work shift leads to Class restriction for one (1) month.
Every end of the month new work shift is collected.
XXVIII. Referral Fee
Employees will receive five hundred peso (500Php) for each referral completing three months contract with excellent performance and perfect attendance.
